Books of John is a non-profit handyman service dedicated to providing assistance to those in need, without judgment. We prioritize professionalism and courtesy in all our interactions, ensuring that regardless of your situation, you can expect respectful and transparent communication throughout the process. As part of our commitment to safety, all our volunteers undergo thorough background checks as part of our onboarding process.

Once you inform us of your needs, we’ll take care of the rest. Our streamlined process unfolds as follows:

1. A representative from Books of John will reach out to you within 24-48 hours to schedule a convenient walk-through.
2. During the walk-through, we’ll carefully document the repairs and tasks that need attention.
3. Back at our office, we compile a detailed report and create a volunteer checklist.
4. We match a qualified volunteer to your project, ensuring the security of your personal information.
5. Your assigned Books of John volunteer will contact you to schedule your repair appointment.
6. We maintain regular follow-ups until the work is completed to your satisfaction.

At Books of John, your well-being and satisfaction are our top priorities.

On another note, we work closely with area churches to ensure this is more than just a “fix”.  We work to build long lasting, substantial relationships to ensure we capture all needs we can.
